The Quick Answer
A typical Arizona weekend in one of our travel trailers costs $295 plus a $95 prep fee and tax — right around $390 before tax for the whole weekend, picked up Thursday evening and returned Monday morning. Toy haulers start around $595 and motorhomes from $695 (most run around $895) for the same window, each plus the $95 prep fee and tax.
The only other money involved up front is a refundable security deposit — a hold on your card, not a charge — of $200 for travel trailers and $300 for toy haulers, motorhomes, and our overlanding Jeep. That is the whole picture. The rest of this page walks through every line so nothing surprises you.

How the Weekend Special Works
Most of our rentals are built around a weekend special: one price covers the whole weekend, typically a Thursday-evening pickup through a Monday-morning return. You are not counting nights or wondering whether Sunday counts — one weekend, one price.
Worked example, travel trailer: $295 weekend special + $95 prep fee = $390 plus tax. That is a family's full weekend at the lake, with a kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, and beds included.
Worked example, toy hauler: $595 + $95 prep = $690 plus tax, with the garage space for your ATVs or bikes. Worked example, motorhome: $895 + $95 prep = $990 plus tax for a drivable home on wheels.
Want to stay out longer? Extra days are added at a clear per-day rate that depends on the unit: travel trailers run about $89–$125 per extra day, toy haulers $159, and motorhomes $169–$259. Leaving Wednesday instead of Thursday, or coming back Tuesday, is simple math — not a repriced trip.
We price this way on purpose. Vague quotes and checkout surprises are how renters get burned, and a weekend price you can say out loud in one breath is how we would want to be treated.
The Deposit Truth: A Hold, Not a Charge
Your security deposit is an authorization hold on your card. We do not charge it, spend it, or make you chase a refund check — if the unit comes back the way it left, the hold is simply released after your return check-in. (One exception worth knowing: if you cancel a reservation, the reservation/security charge is retained under our cancellation policy — the details are in our FAQ.)
The amounts: $200 for travel trailers, $300 for toy haulers, motorhomes, and the overlanding Jeep. Special-event rentals carry their own per-event deposit, covered below.
Mileage: What Is Included and What Overages Cost
Every motorhome rental includes 400 free miles with the weekend special, and each additional day you add includes 100 more. Towable trailers include 100 miles per day, and trailer trips over 1,000 miles add a $300–$500 excess mileage fee.
If you drive a motorhome past its included miles, overage is billed in 500-mile steps: $0.39 per mile for the first 500 miles over, $0.69 for the next 500, $0.99 for the next — with rates continuing to step up for heavier overages. Most weekend trips to the usual Arizona spots never touch an overage at all.
One boundary worth knowing before you plan: RV trips are capped at 1,500 round-trip miles unless you get written approval from us first. The overlanding Jeep is the exception — it comes with unlimited miles.
What Is Always Included Free
Cleaning before your trip, a full inspection, a hands-on walkthrough at pickup so you actually know how everything works, pickup-instruction texts before your trip, and a staffed return check-in when you get back. None of those are line items on your bill.
You will not find a surprise "cleaning fee" added at checkout for normal use — a clean, inspected unit is the starting point of every rental, not an upsell.
Optional Add-Ons and Insurance
Add-ons exist for trips that need them — generator power (every motorhome and toy hauler has an onboard generator; usage is an add-on billed at a flat per-day rate for every day of the trip, unlimited use once selected; travel trailers can add a portable), camp gear, and similar extras — and they are priced live at booking so you see the exact cost before you commit, not after.
For coverage, you have two paths on RV rentals: your own full-coverage auto policy if it extends to the rental, or partner RV coverage arranged through the booking process, typically $29–59 per day depending on the unit. Special-Event Pricing
Big Arizona event weekends run on per-event packages with their own deposits: $300 for most events, $500 for EDC.
Event bookings are split 50% at booking and 50% at pickup, so you can lock in a unit for a major weekend without paying the whole trip months ahead.
The Overlanding Jeep: A Different Model
Our overlanding Jeep prices by the 24-hour day, and the rate drops as your trip grows: $159/day for 2-day trips, $149/day for 3–4 days, and $139/day for 5 days or more, plus a $195 prep fee. There is a 2-day minimum, and miles are unlimited.
Worked example: a 3-day trip is 3 × $149 = $447, plus the $195 prep fee, for $642 plus tax — with no mileage cap between you and the trailheads.
How Marketplace Pricing Differs
Peer-to-peer RV marketplaces can be a fine option, but the headline nightly rate is rarely the final total. Service fees, per-listing cleaning fees, and insurance add-ons stack on at checkout, and every one of them varies listing by listing, so two identical-looking trailers can check out at very different totals.
Our structure is the opposite: weekend price, $95 prep fee, a pickup fee at some locations, tax, done — every line shown before you pay, with a deposit that is a hold, not a charge. We also professionally manage, clean, and maintain every unit in our fleet ourselves, so the condition you see is a company standard, not a roll of the dice on an individual owner. Whatever you book, compare final checkout totals, not headline rates.
What a Full Week Costs
A seven-day trip is the weekend special plus extra days at that unit's published day rate — two to four extra days depending on which day you pick up, because the weekend block anchors to Thursday–Monday. Cheapest path: pick up Thursday, return the following Wednesday.

Monthly and Snowbird Stays
We do rent by the month — winter visitors included — but monthly trips are quoted individually, because length, season, and unit all move the number. The Cheapest Way to Rent an RV in Phoenix
The lowest published entry point in our fleet is the $295 travel trailer weekend special — $390 with the prep fee, before tax, for the whole weekend. Marketplace listings that look cheaper per night usually catch up once renter service fees, cleaning fees, delivery, and night minimums stack on; our price has no marketplace or third-party renter service fee on top.
